Research Conference Flyer – Final (2)

Doncaster’s  Festival of Research which opens on 17th October 2017 at 9.00am to lunchtime, Holiday Inn Warmsworth and runs for 4 days up to 20th October.

Our key note speaker for the opening event is Professor Steve Peters author of the Chimp Paradox.

Steve has worked with a variety of people from NHS staff to elite sports men and women in order to support and improve their psychological fitness, happiness and success.

The keynote event on Tuesday 17th October kicks off a week-long series of events designed to showcase Doncaster’s existing research and innovation and to demonstrate its potential for more research in an effort to impact positively on Health and Wellbeing.

We’re taking a festival approach to showcasing what we do in order to enable as many people as possible to hear more about the diverse research projects the community is engaged in and hopefully to encourage more and more people to get involved.

In keeping with the festival theme there will be a number of “fringe” events; a full schedule will be published shortly.

In advance though we wanted to issue you with a personal invitation to the main event. We are hoping this festival of research becomes a regular feature in the calendar, so please come along and give us your support.

We would be delighted if you would join us.

In order to register your place please email groundedresearch@rdash.nhs.uk to secure a place.

The festival and all of its events are being provided free of charge to staff, key partners and the public.

Please note that if you book a place which you wish to cancel, you must do so two weeks before the event, or you can send someone in your place. If you neither cancel nor send an alternative person, your organisation will be charged the cost of the place.
