Vacancy_Senior Research Fellow @CLAHRC_West @BristolUni #Effectiveness #MedicalStatistics

CLAHRC West are currently recruiting for a Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/Research Fellow (RF) to lead their ‘Effectiveness’ theme, closing date is 28th May 2017

We wish to appoint a talented and enthusiastic medical statistician as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/Research Fellow (RF) based in the School of Social and Community Medicine (SSCM) at the University of Bristol to lead the ‘effectiveness’ theme of the NIHR CLAHRC West (Collaboration for Leadership in Health Research and Care in the west) as soon as possible until December 2018. We would also consider the appointment of a Research Fellow (RF) clearly on track to SRF, and provide such a candidate with support to achieve the post’s tasks.

This post represents an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary research team at one of the UK’s leading centres for applied health research. The post-holder will lead the NIHR CLAHRC West team of medical statisticians (currently three senior research associates and one research associate) and will work closely with the ‘epidemiology’ team lead overseeing the joint quantitative team. They will work collaboratively with staff in the other NIHR CLAHRC West themes, leading and conducting research using statistical methods to provide evidence about effective care across the west, and contributing to national and international priorities and policies.
