The Yorkshire Quality and Safety Research group is seeking to appoint enthusiastic, highly organised and motivated researcher to work as part of a team in a significant programme of patient safety research.
The programme of research, funded over a period of 5 years by the National Institute for Health Research, will explore, develop and test a complex intervention designed to support older patients and their families following discharge from hospital, with the aim to improve patient experience and reduce readmissions.
The successful candidate will work on multiple work packages involving different research methods leading to the development, feasibility testing and randomised controlled trial of an intervention to support frail elderly patients in this ‘transitional care’ period.
