We would like to draw your attention this significant conference which is taking place in November.
The science of improvement: The UK’s first national conference about evidence based improvements in healthcare.
21st and 22nd November 2016, Harrogate International Conference Centre, Yorkshire.
Internationally, Quality Improvement methods are becoming increasingly recognised as a powerful means of delivering rapid and effective advances in the quality and safety of patient care. However, such methods have also come under criticism for being excessively evangelical, and sometimes lacking the rigour and credibility of classical research-based approaches.
The Improvement Science movement aims to bridge this divide by exploring ways of integrating Quality Improvement methods with research-based approaches. We believe that Quality Improvement methods have the potential to allow front-line teams to respond quickly and effectively to the rapidly changing world of modern healthcare but that these methods should be grounded in robust evidence.
The conference will be of interest to:
- Healthcare Professionals
- Improvement Experts
- Researchers & Academics
- Anyone working in the fields of Healthcare Quality & Improvement
- Anyone interested in Patient Safety
