The NIHR Imperial Patient Safety Translational Research Centre (Imperial PSTRC) and the Institute of Global Health Innovation (IGHI) are welcoming applications for the post of Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPI/E) Manager.

This new post has been created for an experienced PPI/E practitioner. They will take the lead in promoting PPI/E through embedding capacity and capability across the PSTRC and IGHI and assuring good practice in involving and engaging patients, their carers and families, and the wider public to promote the translation of research into practice.

Moreover, the post will contribute to the day-to-day management of both the PSTRC and the IGHI, including but not limited to supporting tender responses.

Applicants should have a postgraduate degree or equivalent experience in PPI/E within research, experience of working with patient and public groups and incorporating their voices in the organisation, as well as experience in supporting the daily management and running of high-calibre research centres.

The post is full time and fixed term for 2 years, and it is based at St. Mary’s Campus, Paddington.
