Applications are invited for a Research Fellow to work with Professor Kate Pickett and the CLAHRC Yorkshire and Humber (http://clahrc-yh.nihr.ac.uk/). The post is based in the Department of Health Sciences, University of York, but requires regular regional travel. You will contribute to research and translation of health inequalities with a range of academic, clinical and local authority staff across all the themes of the CLAHRC YH.
You will have a PhD in a relevant area, good quantitative skills, and possess a detailed understanding of a variety of methods used in health research. The post offers a significant opportunity for a self-motivated researcher to pursue a health inequalities agenda in active collaboration with a range of leading researchers and to develop your own research programme.
This is a full-time post (37 hours per week) and is fixed-term for a period of 24 months.
