Research and Health Inequalities workshop #CLAHRCYHTK2A @wolstenholme_d

Thursday 17th March 12:30 – 16:30pm

St Marys’ Conference Centre,
Bramall Lane, Sheffield. S2 4QZ

Research and health inequalities

Health inequalities, differences in health status resulting from social position or
conditions, are avoidable and unfair. Health inequality considerations can be
incorporated into any kind of research, either as the primary focus or as a
secondary outcome.

This workshop is aimed at researchers who would like a pragmatic introduction into incorporating health inequalities in their research.

We will work through provided examples and there will be time to reflect on how to
incorporate equity considerations into existing or planned projects.

The workshop is supported by the Translating Knowledge in to Action and Public Health and Inequalities themes of NIHR CLAHRC YH and will be run by the NIHR CLAHRC YH Health Inequalities Adviser: Dr Stephanie Prady.
