The overarching aim of the CLAHRC WM is to undertake high-quality applied health research focused on the local needs of patients in the West Midlands and to support the translation of research evidence into practice in our local NHS. We have an overarching ambition to combine the Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) that informs service development and delivery, together with the PPI that informs the research and evaluation activity carried-out to identify the impact of any changes applied to those services.
