Lecturer or Senior Lecturer

The Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) South London pools the clinical and research expertise of both the NHS and universities in south London as it brings together King’s Health Partners (a partnership between King’s College London and Guy’s and St Thomas’, King’s College Hospital and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trusts), with St George’s Healthcare NHS Trust and St George’s, University of London. A key component of the CLAHRC is capacity building across the workforce.

The purpose of the role of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is to take a lead in the design, planning, organisation and delivery of high quality programmes of study in implementation, translation and improvement science to support workforce development and build capacity in this new research field.

The post holder will work with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful programme delivery whilst undertaking high-quality research in the subject area and actively contributing to teaching and relevant administration. A particular requirement of this role  is to lead a new MSc programme in Implementation Science (subject to validation).

It is an exciting time to be joining the Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care and this role will play a crucial part in the CLAHRCs continuing development and success.

The post holder must have:

  • BSc in Health/Education (or related subject) • Doctoral qualification • Published research and peer reviewed papers in high impact journals

The key objective for the role will be to take a lead role in the planning, organisation and delivery of learning and teaching in accordance with established departmental practice, including responsibility for design, delivery and assessment of programmes/modules including e-learning. Salary Details: £39,685 to £56,482 per annum

Allowances: Plus £2,323 London Allowance Contract Type: Temporary/Fixed term Contract Term: Full time
