June 1st and 2nd 2015 (with evening event on the 1st June)
Location: Heart of the Campus, Sheffield
We are delighted to invite you to join us at our first MCA expo event to be held in Sheffield in June. In recent years healthcare systems around the world have seen the rise of a microsystem improvement movement with front line staff taking ownership to improve the systems in which they work. The MCA expo is a celebration of this paradigm shift in our approach to healthcare improvement and the aim of the expo is to share the learning of front line owned re-design efforts and to hear from experts in the field of healthcare quality improvement. The MCA Expo will provide an opportunity to meet new-thinkers in health care and proponents of redesigning healthcare from within.
The MCA expo will be two inspiring days of sharing, learning & networking including:
Keynotes by Paul Batalden, Margie Godfrey and other national and internationally renowned quality improvement leaders.
- Case studies and stories from the Sheffield MCA and beyond to share and learn from others actively engaged in quality improvement.
- Interactive sessions to build quality improvement knowledge and skills.
- Daytime and evening events to build your own improvement network.
- The event has been approved by the Royal College for 10 hours of external non clinical CPD points.
If you are interested in presenting at the expo please click here to submit an abstract. The deadline for abstracts is Friday 17th April.
The cost of the whole two day event including the evening celebration on the 1st June is £149. The day rate is £99.
More details are on the MCA website at www.sheffieldmca.org.uk
The expo will be held at the Sheffield Hallam University Heart of the Campus facility in Sheffield.
