Funded PhD opportunity – Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology research group at The University of Sheffield

‘The use of telemedicine for remote health care provision by care homes for older people’

The Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology research group (RAT group) within the School of Health and Related Research at the University of Sheffield is very pleased to be able to announce the award of a full time PhD studentship from Abbeyfield Trust.

The funding will enable a full time PhD student to spend three years studying the use of telemedicine for remote health care provision by care homes for older people. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career researcher interested in the treatment and care of older people, and how technology might contribute towards health care provision.
