Fellowship Event_Research Design Service Yorkshire and the Humber

RDS Fellowship Event Tuesday 3 June 2014 12.00 to 16.30

This half day event will offer an opportunity to gain a greater understanding of Fellowship schemes. Registration to this event is FREE and lunch will be provided.

The event is open to all who are interested in applying for either the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) or Medical Research Council (MRC) Fellowship schemes, including methodologists, healthcare scientists, nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, clinicians, doctors and dentists. The event is organised by the NIHR Research Design Service for Yorkshire and Humber (RDS YH) and will provide an overview of the programmes and offer insight into what makes a good application. If you intend to apply for a fellowship in the future or would just like to know more about Fellowships then this will be an ideal opportunity.

An overview of NIHR and MRC Fellowship Awards

o Prof Stephen Walters, MRC fellowships

Presentations from current and past personal research awards
o Dr Mark Strong (doctorial and post doctorial experience)
