Vice Chancellor’s Scholarships – These PhD scholarships are on offer to invest in students who can contribute to our research strategy. The scholarship includes full-time Home/EU tuition fees and a maintenance bursary for 3 years of full time study. The maintenance bursary will be paid at the RCUK national rate which is £13,863 for 2014/15.

Deadline for applications – The closing date for scholarship applications is 12 pm on Tuesday 6 May 2014.

Research Areas – Applications in a wide range of health and social care research are welcome, including: allied health professions, nursing, midwifery and social work.  Examples of our research can be found on the Centre website.  This also has a section of staff contacts. Below is a list of suggested topics plus contacts – this is by no means exhaustive so contact us if you have another area you’d like to suggest.
